Man taken to hospital after A31 crash
A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital after the car he was driving collided with the central reservation on the A31 at Ringwood.
Hampshire Police informs Bournemouth One that his injuries are not thought to be serious.
The incident happened just after 6am today, Thursday 18th September, and the surrounding roads were heavily congested as a result until midday.
Drivers on the A338, B3081 and A31 faced long delays of over an hour during rush hour.
Hampshire Police said: “We were called at 6.22am with reports of a BMW colliding with the central reservation on the A31 eastbound.
“The driver, a 19-year-old man from Southampton, was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be serious.
“Enquiries into the collision remain ongoing.”
