At around 11.30am on 24 August, officers received a report that a woman in her thirties was attacked in the underpass between Vanguard Road and Serpentine Lane.

It was reported that a man walked past her and thrust a screwdriver into her hip before putting it back in his pocket and walking away toward the Holes Bay area.
