Woman in twenties injured in Bournemouth hit and run collision

A woman in her twenties has sustained a serious knee injury after a fail-to-stop collision in Bournemouth.

The incident occurred between 12.15am and 12.20am on Saturday 9 August on the railway bridge in Holdenhurst Road. It was reported that a motorbike collided with the pedestrian before leaving the scene without stopping.

Police Constable India Russell, of Bournemouth police, said officers are determined to trace the rider and are appealing for witnesses. She urged anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have dashcam footage, to get in touch.
