Police appeal after teenager injured in Christchurch collision

Dorset Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a serious injury collision in Christchurch.

Emergency services were called to Barrack Road at 6.40pm on Saturday 16 August 2025 following reports of a collision involving a blue Jaguar F-PACE and a blue motorbike.

The rider of the motorbike, a 16-year-old boy, was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious but not life-threatening or life-changing.

Police Constable Lauren Hobkirk, from the Roads Policing Team, said officers are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the collision. She urged witnesses to come forward, particularly anyone who saw the manner of driving or riding of the vehicles beforehand, or who may have dashcam footage covering the area at the time.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police through the website, by email scit@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55250121944. Information can also be passed anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers.
