Police release CCTV after serious robbery in Bournemouth

Detectives have released CCTV images of two men they want to identify in connection with a robbery in Bournemouth that left a man unconscious.

The incident happened at around 5.25pm on Tuesday 27 May this year in The Square, close to the NatWest bank.

It was reported that a man in his forties was assaulted by two men, who kicked and stamped on his head until he lost consciousness. Detective Sergeant Cameron Thompson, of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole CID, said: “We have been continuing to investigate this robbery, including making local enquiries in the BCP area, and with neighbouring forces, to try and identify the perpetrators.

“I am now in a position to issue CCTV images of two men we would like to identify as part of our investigation. I would urge anyone who recognises these men, or who has any further information that might assist our enquiries, to please contact us.”
