Oasis fan who died at Wembley named as man from Bournemouth
The Oasis fan who died after falling at Wembley Stadium on Saturday night has been named as Lee Claydon from Bournemouth.
The 41-year-old father of one fell from the upper tier near the end of the concert and was pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency services and medics responded quickly, but could not save him.
Lee was described by his family as a loving father to his son Harry and someone who cared deeply for those around him. A fundraising page has been launched to support his partner Amanda and their family through what has been described as a devastating loss.
During Sunday’s concert, Liam Gallagher acknowledged the tragedy, dedicating a song to “all the people who can’t be here tonight”.
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses or anyone with video footage to come forward to help confirm exactly what happened.
