A body has been found in the search for 63-year-old John, who was reported missing from Bournemouth earlier this week.
John was last seen at around 8.30pm on Monday 21 July this year in the Browning Avenue area.
On the evening of Wednesday 23 July, officers located the body of a man. While formal identification has not yet been completed, it is believed to be John. His next of kin has been informed.
Police have confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious and HM Coroner has been notified.
Officers have expressed their sympathies to John’s family and loved ones at what they describe as an extremely difficult time.
