Ringwood McDonald’s reopens after redesign

McDonald’s at Picket Post on the A31 near Ringwood has reopened following a full redesign aimed at improving the experience for both customers and staff.

The restaurant, operated by local franchisee Tony Bennett, has been upgraded as part of McDonald’s nationwide ‘Convenience of the Future’ programme.

The changes focus on quicker service, a better use of space and a more modern layout to support digital ordering.

The redesign includes dedicated zones for different ordering methods such as the McDonald’s app, walk-in, and Drive Thru. The traditional front counter has been removed to create more space and improve customer flow inside the restaurant.

As part of the refurbishment, the staff area has also been updated to provide a more comfortable and relaxing environment for employees during breaks.

Tony Bennett, who owns 18 McDonald’s restaurants, said the changes were designed to improve both customer visits and working conditions for the team.
