Poole Harbour Festival returns to Baiter Park next month with its biggest line-up to date.
Running from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 July, the event will feature 60 live acts across five stages, with organisers expecting around 15,000 people to attend over the weekend.
Headliners confirmed for this year include UB40, Feeder and Happy Mondays. They will be joined by The Hoosiers, N-Trance, We Are Scientists, The Vengaboys, Judge Jules, Dave Pearce and Woody Cook.
Festival organiser Ben Dyas said: “We’re so lucky with the location on the shores of Poole Harbour – there are views across to Brownsea Island and even Corfe Castle in the distance. The line-up is carefully chosen with our audience in mind and it’s really easy to get here by car, bus or train.”
The event also includes a strong local presence, with artists from across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole performing on the Big Top and new Smugglers Inn stage. These include Mother Ukers, Chris Payn, Lady Winwood’s Maggot, Saints of Sin and Mischa & His Merry Men. There will also be tribute sets to Queen, Elton John, Abba and The Prodigy.
Alongside the music, the festival offers family-friendly entertainment including daily children’s performers, walkabout acts, circus skills workshops and dinosaur shows.
Ben added: “It’s just as important to us to remember the hundreds of families who come to us for top quality free children’s entertainment – and lots of it – in a safe and secure environment.”
