Jet2 has confirmed a major expansion of their winter flight schedule from Bournemouth Airport for 2026 and 2027, including a brand-new route to Malaga.
It will be the airline’s second winter at Bournemouth Airport, and the company has now put more than 110,000 seats on sale across 11 destinations — a 34 percent rise on the previous winter.
The new Malaga service will operate up to twice a week and gives passengers direct access to the Spanish city with Jet2 for the first time in winter from Bournemouth.
Popular destinations in the Canary Islands, mainland Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Majorca and Morocco are also returning for Winter 26/27, with more flights on several existing routes.
Across the peak winter travel period, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate more than 20 outbound flights each week from Bournemouth.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said the expansion was directly responding to demand from people in Bournemouth, Southampton, Portsmouth and across the South of England.
He said: “We are delighted to be launching a brand-new winter route to Malaga and giving customers and independent travel agents even more choice and flexibility for next winter.”
Bournemouth Airport’s Managing Director, Steve Gill, said: “This expanded Winter Sun programme from Jet2.com and Jet2holidays is a great boost for Bournemouth Airport and our passengers.”
Destinations on offer include Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Alicante, Malaga, Palma, Faro, Madeira, and more.
