Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash on A350 near Poole

A motorcyclist in his 50s has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a collision on the A350 near Poole.

Emergency services were called at 5.59pm on Saturday 31 May after a blue Renault Clio and a black Yamaha motorcycle collided near the Beacon Hill junction on Blandford Road North.

The man’s injuries are described as serious but not life-changing or life-threatening. The road was closed for several hours while emergency crews responded.

Dorset Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage from anyone who was driving in the area at the time.

Sergeant Chris Brolan from the Roads Policing Team said: “We are conducting an ongoing investigation into the circumstances of this collision, and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.”

He also thanked the public for their patience during the road closures.
