Three day family friendly festival takes place in Wimborne this weekend
Family Fest 2025 is happening on Julian’s Field in Wimborne this weekend, promising a weekend of entertainment, activities, and community spirit.
Running till Sunday, June 1st, this festival offers a diverse lineup catering to all ages. There’s a funfair, children’s shows, family activities, live music and trade stalls.
Headlining acts include The Rudimentalists on Friday and local singer Yazadi on Saturday.
New for this year is the Bournemouth One Lounge, featuring street food, a bar, and additional performances, with music provided by your very own local radio station.
Family Fest 2025 has made efforts to be more accessible, reducing ticket prices to £5 for children and £8 for adults. The festival site spans 12 acres of working farmland and offers on-site camping from Friday afternoon through Monday morning.
Shuttle bus services are available from Wimborne Square and Blandford, courtesy of Burrows Coaches.
In addition to entertainment, Family Fest supports local charity Cherry Tree Nursery, having donated £4,000 over the past four years .
