Brewer to launch its first interactive games pub in Poole

Dorset brewer Hall & Woodhouse is to launch its first interactive games pub.

The Quay opens next month after an extensive renovation of the Grade II listed building on Poole Quay.

Hall & Woodhouse purchased the pub, which was previously a Wetherspoons, in March.

The 12,500 square-foot pub is split over two floors with 200 covers inside and more seating outside.

The rear room will offer a games experience including shuffleboard, digital darts and table football.

Mark James, property director at Hall & Woodhouse, said: “We’re excited to reopen this fabulous waterside pub with a new games concept.

“We’re committed to continually enhancing our offering and know that multi-purpose spaces where friends can dine, drink, and play are proving incredibly popular across the country.”

Kane Chainey, General Manager of The Quay and longstanding team member of Hall & Woodhouse, said: “I am so proud to have the opportunity to lead my team as we launch the first ever Hall & Woodhouse interactive games pub.

“We can’t wait to welcome locals and tourists alike into The Quay to enjoy all the new entertainment.”
