Thousands expected as Christchurch Food Festival marks its 25th anniversary
Christchurch Food Festival is marking its 25th anniversary this Bank Holiday weekend.
Thousands of people are expected to attend the three-day free event on Christchurch Quay which organisers say will be their biggest and best.
It includes live cooking demonstrations from renowned chefs, hands-on workshops, artisan food markets, exclusive tastings and plenty of food and drink to enjoy.
Launched in 2000, the Christchurch Food Festival was run as a Community Interest Company (CIC) until 2019.
Its aim is to get visitors trying, tasting and experiencing new things, share delicious food and drink and make people more open to thinking differently.
This year’s festival starts at 10am tomorrow.
