Dorset’s disability charity Diverse Abilities is looking for volunteers to help at this year’s Grooves on the Green festival at Ashley Cross.
The event takes place on Friday 27th June until Sunday 29th June with a weekend full of live music, children’s entertainment and food.
The charity is looking for volunteers to help on the information and craft tents as well as gate marshals on the entrance and exits of the festival.
Grooves on the Green will be raising money for Diverse Abilities, a charity which supports children and adults with profound physical and learning disabilities, through services such as Langside School, a specialist school for children aged two to 19, and The Beehive, a therapy and activity centre for adults.
Any help received or money raised will ensure the charity is able to provide the best support through its services to make every day better for the children and adults supported by the charity.
Becky Edwards, Marketing and Volunteers Executive at Diverse Abilities, said: “Grooves on the Green is a fantastic event, and volunteers always have a great time getting involved in the festival.
“We are still looking for volunteers to help across the weekend, with various roles.
“We would love to hear from you if you are interested in getting involved.”
