St John Ambulance is asking people across Dorset to volunteer to help young cadets learn first aid and life skills.
The charity is looking for Youth Leaders and Youth Helpers in Poole and Bournemouth, along with other towns across the county.
These roles involve supporting young people aged ten to seventeen who are part of the St John Cadets programme.
There is high demand from young people wanting to join, and more adult volunteers are needed so that more cadets can be welcomed.
No previous experience is needed and full training is provided, including first aid and safeguarding.
Volunteers must be at least eighteen and will need to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
Those who start as Youth Helpers will receive support and can work towards becoming a Youth Leader.
Volunteers also have access to development opportunities and discounts through the Blue Light Card scheme.
Lee Hitchings from St John Ambulance in Dorset said: “We have fantastic opportunities for adults who want to make a difference in their community.”
