
Police in Wimborne are investigating a reported disturbance and damage to several vehicles in the Thresher Way area.
Officers responded to reports of an altercation between a man and a woman shortly after 11.30pm on Saturday.
The man and woman are believed to be known to each other.
It was later reported that the man caused damage to a number of vehicles in the area.
The man, who was wearing a black jumper and black jogging bottoms, is also reported to have fallen from the roof of a property. He was taken to hospital by ambulance with potentially life-changing injuries and remains in care.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
Police are appealing for witnesses, victims, or anyone with relevant footage to come forward.
