Litter Free Dorset has announced the dates for the 35th Great Dorset Beach Clean.
It will be from Saturday 5th April to Sunday 13th April.
Everyone is invited to join in the community effort to keep Dorset’s coastline pristine.
Organisers say this year’s event will be bigger and better than 2024 with beach cleans all along the coast, from Lyme Regis to Poole.
Last year, and despite stormy weather, more than 200 dedicated volunteers cleaned up eight beaches across Dorset.
Their hard work resulted in the removal of hundreds of kilos of litter, including fishing gear, hard plastics and items such as brooms and a fridge.
Some of the most commonly littered items are plastic bottles and cigarette butts.
