The countdown to the Great Tail Trail is on as all sculptures get sponsored

All 45 sculptures on The Great Tail Trail, in support of Julia’s House children’s hospice, are now officially sponsored by local businesses.

Sponsors recently gathered at Julia’s House hospice in Corfe Mullen to celebrate their involvement and learn how their support helps provide vital care for seriously ill children across Dorset.

Laura Maidment, Public Fundraising Manager for Julia’s House, expressed excitement over the community’s enthusiasm: “Seeing all 45 mermaid tails sponsored is incredible. The support has been overwhelming, and we hope the public enjoys exploring the trail while helping Julia’s House continue its essential work.”

The trail runs until June 1, with a Farewell Weekend at the BIC on June 14-15, where all 45 sculptures and 43 school-decorated Tiny Tails will be displayed together.

On June 20, a Grand Auction at the Italian Villa, Compton Acres will offer a chance to own a mer-mazing masterpiece, with proceeds supporting Julia’s House.
