A Bournemouth singing group is releasing a charity single today to raise awareness and money for Julia’s House.
Cadence, who describe themselves as a group of friends united by their love of singing, have recorded a cover version of Leonard Cohen’s song, Hallelujah.
It’s available on the usual streaming sites with all profits from the streams going to Julia’s House.
Lianne Anderson, from Cadence, said the charity is close to Cadence’s heart.
She said: “Julia’s House is a beacon of hope for children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
“The compassionate care and support they provide not only creates a safe and nurturing environment but also helps families build precious memories during difficult times.
“Our charity single is a testament to their incredible work, and we are committed to raising funds to ensure they can continue to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children.”
Amanda Gillett, Community Fundraiser at Julia’s House, said: “We are so grateful for the support of everyone involved in Cadence and for their wonderful voices.
“This generous donation from their charity single will make an amazing difference every day to local children and families.
“We want to give a huge thank you to everyone involved.”
In addition to the money raised by streaming, Cadence have worked with Julia’s House to set up a donation page so that the amount raised can be boosted further.
