All the winners from the Bournemouth Business Awards have been announced at an afternoon ceremony at the end of Bournemouth Pier.
They included Key West Bar and Grill, NFU Mutual Bournemouth, Total Dorset, Bournemouth & Poole College, and your very own Bournemouth One which took home Gold for Best New Business.
On accepting the award at yesterday’s event co-founder Sophie Greenwood said she was very proud that the radio station is community focused with local and relevant information.
“There has been a lot of work that’s gone in to the station and I’m very proud at what we’ve achieved, and honoured to receive this Gold award today,” she added.
Twenty-five awards were presented with Rejuvenate IT named as the overall winner.
Guests included Cllr Lesley Dedman, Chair of BCP Council and the Bournemouth Mayor, Cllr George Farquhar.
Also attending were Nick Gregory, Operations Director of Dorset Growth Hub, and Professor Lois Farquharson, Executive Dean of Bournemouth University Business School.
The Family Business of the Year award was presented by accountants Saffery to longstanding luxury menswear retailer Robert Old which has been trading in Bournemouth since 1909.
