Bus stuck in mud in the middle of multi-way temporary traffic lights

A bus became stuck on a grass verge in the middle of three-way temporary traffic lights in Verwood on Monday afternoon.

The Morebus X6 service mounted the muddy verge on Station Road to navigate around the work van and line of cones set up for work by South West Water.

The works started on January 22nd and large vehicles have been using the grass at the side of the road to get around the corner from Dewlands Road due to lack of space.

The restrictions are due to be cleared tomorrow.

At the time of writing, the bus had been stuck for around an hour and was awaiting recovery.
