Explosive Ordnance Disposal team attend report of explosive device in Cranborne
Explosive Ordnance Disposal teams have dealt with a suspicious item located in Wimborne Street Cranborne this afternoon.
Dorset Police received a report at 12.41pm on Wednesday 22 January 2025 of a possible explosive device.
Officers attended and a cordon was put in place for the safety of members of the public as an EOD teams responded to the incident.
The main B3078 road has been closed throughout the afternoon with traffic being diverted locally.
