Protestors will take to the streets of Bournemouth this weekend in a show of support for women’s rights and gender equality.
Thousands are expected to take part in peaceful marches in 22 towns and cities.
The Bournemouth protest starts at The Triangle at 12 noon tomorrow, Saturday.
The march will feature speeches from local organisers and a display of banners and signs, all united in the call for change.
Other towns and cities taking part include London, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Brighton, Cambridge, Canterbury, Exeter, Glasgow, Leeds, Lincoln, Manchester, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Northampton, Nottingham, Plymouth, Sheffield and Belfast.
The marches are inclusive of trans and non-binary participants and have been designed to be as accessible as possible.
Sarah Edwards, one of the organisers, said: “This march is about showing the world that women’s rights are human rights.
“Violence against women has been declared a national emergency in the UK, this is simply not acceptable in 2025.”
