YMCA Bournemouth supported and housed 184 people and provided over 54,000 meals in the past year.
The charity also hosted 1,250 counselling sessions and engaged more than 125 young people weekly in youth clubs.
The figures were revealed as YMCA Bournemouth held a celebration event to showcase its work in the community.
More than 100 guests attended including Sir Christopher Lees, Deputy Lieutenant of Dorset, and the Mayor of Bournemouth, Cllr George Farquhar, Mayor of Bournemouth
It featured the premiere of a short film produced by Studio Global, a YMCA business supporter, highlighting the staff’s perspective on their impactful work.
The audience were were inspired by personal accounts of resilience and compassion.
YMCA Bournemouth has been a beacon of hope for the community for over 145 years, recently offering vital services across accommodation, youth work, family work, health & wellbeing, training & education, and support & advice.
