Indoor karting is about to race into Bournemouth, creating 30 new jobs.
TeamSport Indoor Karting is to launch its 38th UK site, costing £1.8 million, in Wallisdown Road.
The venue will feature a 300-metre track with capacity for 14 state-of-the-art karts to race at once.
It will also have a range of additional activities to keep visitors of all ages entertained together with a bar and kitchen area.
A race academy will give younger racers the opportunity to hone their skills and develop a passion for motorsports.
Dom Gaynor, CEO of TeamSport, said: “Our goal is to create a space that caters to adrenaline junkies as well as families.
“It will be a perfect place for stag and hen parties and we will also be developing a race academy programme for young racers.”
An official opening date is still to be confirmed.
