Stokewood Leisure Centre in Bournemouth has been given a £50,000 upgrade and access to a new Group Cycling experience.
Owner BH Live has installed more than 20 new stationary Technogym bikes which can now offer the new service.
Rob Cunningham, Director of Leisure and Business Development said: “This investment reflects our continued commitment to improving community leisure centres for everyone and all levels of fitness.
“Our Group Cycling classes are a highlight enjoyed by hundreds of people each week. They’re designed to be fun, energetic, and accessible to everyone, regardless of fitness level.
“By introducing the latest Technogym™ bikes to Stokewood, we’re not just upgrading our facilities – we’re inviting more people in the BCP region to join in and discover the health and wellbeing benefits of staying active.”
Stokewood Leisure Centre opened in 1930 with a swimming pool and bathing facilities for the local community.
The centre now has a gym over two floors, exercise studios running daily classes, a swimming pool and poolside spa facilities.
