Harry Redknapp opens new stand at Holt United Football Club

A new stand has been officially opened by Harry Redknapp at Holt United in honour of the club’s founder Terry Bradford.

The hundred-seater facility has been made possible thanks to sponsorship from local homebuilder Pennyfarthing Homes, who were also in attendance on Saturday afternoon to take part in the ribbon cutting ceremony.

The former AFC Bournemouth Manager and local resident Mr Redknapp paid tribute to Terry for devoting his life to the club.

He said: “If anyone deserve to have a stand named after him, it’s Terry, 58 years giving to a local football club, for kids and everyone in this local area to play on, I think it’s amazing what you’ve done Terry.

“It’s people like Terry who makes the game what it is, so I am really honoured to come along and open this new stand – long may it stay here!”
