Fire crews have been dealing with a large heath blaze in Verwood.
At the height of the fire, around 40 firefighters from nine stations were tackling the flames at Boveridge Heath.
They included Christchurch, Wimborne and Poole.
The fire was discovered in undergrowth at just before six o’clock this morning.
Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service described it as a large and well-developed fire in an area where access is difficult due to the density of the foilage.
They’ve advised people to avoid the area.
