Residents were warned to keep their windows and doors shut last night while fire crews tackled a barn fire in Bournemouth.
At the height of the blaze in Throop Road, 35 firefighters were on the scene with crews from Redhill Park, Springbourne, Christchurch, Hamworthy, Sherborne and Westbourne fire stations.
The barn contained wood and hay.
The warning to nearby residents came after a large amount of smoke was carried by the wind over the immediate area.
