A cordon is currently in place near the Bell Inn on Christchurch Road in Pokesdown following an incident on Thursday evening.
Dorset Police received a report at 11.34pm on Thursday 26 January 2023 that a man had been located with injuries near to Granville Road in Bournemouth.
It is reported that the man – aged in his 30s – had previously been assaulted by three men in Seabourne Road.
The victim was taken to hospital by the ambulance service for treatment to injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
An investigation has been launched and a cordon is in place to allow for enquiries to be carried out at the scene opposite Pokesdown station.
