Drama on Winton high street as emergency services respond to a fire

At least seven fire engines attended a fire on Wimborne Road in Winton on Wednesday afternoon along with police and an ambulance.

Wimborne Road was closed for a couple of hours near Lidl as firefighters dealt with a fire at the back of a shop.

Bus services were diverted and delayed as a result.

Due to a fire at Winton in the Wycliffe Road / Wimborne Road area services 13 and 15 are diverting via Ensbury Park, Boundary Road, Talbot Road in both directions. ^JB

Due to a fire in Winton on Wimborne Road, we are unable to serve any stops between Withermoor Road and Ensbury Park Road. Routes 5 & 5a are diverting via Withermoor Road and Boundary Road and routes 4 & 737 are diverting via Withermoor Road, Boundary Road, and Ensbury Park Road.
