Detectives investigating a reported serious assault in Bournemouth in which a teenage boy sustained stab wounds are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
At approximately 11pm on Monday 13 June 2022 two men and a teenage boy were reportedly involved in an altercation with a group of three other men outside Clifton Estate Agents in Lansdowne Crescent. During the incident a 17-year-old boy sustained two stab wounds to the rear of his left arm and shoulder.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries and was discharged the following day.
A 25-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, while two other men aged 32 and 41 were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. They have all been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
Detective Constable Jordan Curtis, of Bournemouth CID, said: “Our investigations into this incident remain ongoing. I am appealing to anyone who was in the area of Lansdowne Crescent at the relevant time and either saw what happened, or captured anything of relevance on dashcam, to please get in touch with Dorset Police.”
