National Highways has made some changes to the planned closure dates in the ongoing widening work for the A31 at Ringwood.
The roads agency has been able to cancel three lane closures and one full overnight closure, reducing disruption.
For three nights from 23 January, between 8pm and 6am, they’ll be closing the A31 between the M27 junction near Cadnam and the Ashley Heath roundabout to prepare and install the contraflow.
The eastbound carriageway will be closed between 8pm and 6am on Sunday 23 January and Monday 24 January, and the westbound carriageway will be closed from 8pm on Tuesday 25 January till 6am on Wednesday 26th January.
After this work, all traffic will use the Eastbound carriageway with two lanes for each direction.
Here are the new closures, taken from the VerwoodToday Roadworks page.
