A35 and Station Road closed at Holmsley for new bridge construction

The C10 Station Road and the A35 through the New Forest are both fully closed till April 8th to allow the construction of a new bridge.

In addition, Holmsley Passage will be closed till 30th June 2022.

However, for Mothering Sunday on 27 March, special provisions will be made to make it easier for customers to access the Old Station Tea Rooms.

For reference, the road closures are at the following points:

A35 – Lyndhurst Road junction (North) to Holmsley Passage junction (South)

C10 Station Road – Wootton Bridge junction (East) to Wilverley Road and Holmsley Passage junction (West)

Holmsley Passage between A35 to Wilverley and Station Road junction

Access will be maintained for residents and businesses along these routes. There will be no access through the construction site (on the A35 and C10) for the safety of the public and our site workers.

The cycle route NCN2 will be closed for the duration of the works. A temporary diversion route is has been prepared in collaboration with SUSTRANS and New Forest National Park Authority.
