Three people injured following alleged assault in a Poole pub

Two men in their 20s and a teenage boy sustained injuries and attended hospital for treatment following reports of a fight in a Poole pub.

Two teenage boys were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. They have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

It is reported that at around 12.05am on Saturday 29 January 2022 a fight occurred between a group of people at the Lord Wimborne pub in Lagland Street.

The group then left the pub and it is alleged that a further fight occurred a short time afterwards outside Sainsbury’s and Caffè Nero in the High Street.

Detective Constable Jordan Hopkins, of Bournemouth CID, said: “An investigation is underway and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed what happened to please come forward.”
