The Avon Causeway at Sopley closed due to a multi-vehicle collision on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency services including the Police and Fire Brigade attended the incident near Hurn.
Traffic was heavy between the B3347 and Matchems Lane for around two hours.
Three vehicles were involved and one person received injuries.
