A large vehicle fire closed the B3081 Station Road on Saturday afternoon after a tractor and its trailer set alight.
It happened near the entrance of Romford Farm, not far from the Albion public house and Albion Way, closing the route to Woodlands.
Fire engines from Verwood and Cranborne attended along with a water carrier from Ringwood.
The fire was extinguished using foam and Environment Agency spill kits were used to try and prevent oil and fuel from entering the drains.
Police Slow signs are still in place asking drivers to take extra care on the bend on Sunday morning.
