Police are requesting information about people using catapults and projectiles to damage vehicles and properties in Verwood.
The incidents have happened many times in the past but more reports of further damage have been made in the last few days.
East Dorset Police says: “Victims of these crimes are local persons and local businesses. They have to pay for the damage to be rectified themselves as the cost most of the time is below any insurance excess limit.
“Many victims are left feeling, angry, frustrated or even scared as a result of these incidents. Someone in our communities will know who is responsible or have suspicions.
“Let’s work together to prevent any more incidents and bring the offenders to justice.”
