No Slot No Shot as first drive through flu clinic arrives

The first Cranborne Practice Drive-Through flu clinic is taking place at Lake Road Surgery this weekend.

The Practice and Patient volunteer traffic marshalls will be aiming to minimise any congestion and disruption to local traffic around Lake Road on Sunday morning, 4th October.

All the slots for this event are taken, so organisers are asking people to not turn up if they haven’t successfully booked.

Julie Saunders, Chair, The Cranborne Practice Patient Participation Group tells VerwoodToday: “Many thanks to our patients who have taken up the opportunity for an NHS Winter Flu vaccination. There has been a remarkable response to the offer.

“Our first clinic this year is for over 65s and takes place this coming Sunday. All our appointments for over 65s vaccination clinics are now fully booked, and we ask you to please note all patients must have an appointment to attend. No Slot? No Shot!”

Below is how the system will work – and anyone attending is asked to only arrive at your allotted time to avoid congestion.
