Detectives have charged a man following an alleged assault in Bournemouth.
Dorset Police received a report at 12.45am on Monday 12 July 2021 that two men – aged in their 30s and from Bournemouth – had been assaulted on Keeble Road.
One of the victims sustained a stab wound to his leg and they were both taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be serious.
It was reported that the man who assaulted them was in possession of a firearm, but no weapon was discharged during the incident.
Following enquiries, a 29-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested in connection with the incident. He has since been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 15 July 2021.
The charged man and the victims are known to each other.
