A road traffic collision in Poole has resulted in an overturned Ambulance blocking the A35 Commercial Road.
Recovery work is underway and all emergency services are on the scene. There is major congestion in the area with queues back to Parkstone Road, Sandbanks Road, Bournemouth Road, Station Road & Fernside Road.
Ashley Cross is blocked both ways for vehicle recovery with a crane. Unfortunately we have had to divert t via the m2 route North Road and Ashley Road. The m1 will not serve Commercial Road, Castle Hill or Richmond Road in both directions. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. ^JB

We currently have crews from @DWFRSPooleFire & @DWFRSWestbourne assisting @swasFT and @dorsetpolice with a 2 vehicle RTC at Ashley Cross, Poole. The road is open but traffic is very heavy. Please avoid the area where possible.
