{"id":908,"date":"2021-06-03T22:22:07","date_gmt":"2021-06-03T21:22:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bournemouthtoday.com\/?p=908"},"modified":"2021-06-03T22:22:07","modified_gmt":"2021-06-03T21:22:07","slug":"ambulance-involved-in-collision-in-christchurch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.bournemouthone.com\/test\/ambulance-involved-in-collision-in-christchurch\/","title":{"rendered":"Serious injuries after ambulance collides with car in Christchurch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A collision between an ambulance on blue lights and a car in Christchurch resulted in multiple serious injuries for the drivers and passengers.<\/p>\n<p>The incident closed part of Barrack Road on Thursday evening to allow emergency services to deal with the incident just after 8.30pm.<\/p>\n<p>Substantial damage was created by the ambulance which hit the traffic lights and railing in the middle of the road at the junction with Stour Road.<\/p>\n<p>Dorset Police was called at 8.34pm, who attended along with the fire and ambulance services. The road reopened around 11.35pm.<\/p>\n<p>The driver of the ambulance sustained minor injuries and a passenger sustained serious injuries. The driver of the car sustained serious injuries.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">20:45 a crew from <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DWFRSXchurch?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@DWFRSXchurch<\/a> attended a road traffic collision on Barrack Road.
