Morebus has named University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity as its official good cause for 2024 and 2025.<\/p>\n
The local bus operator will spend the next two years raising funds and awareness to help the charity enhance the treatment and care of patients accessing NHS services at Royal Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch hospitals.<\/p>\n
Morebus general manager, Richard Wade, said: \u201cUniversity Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity is a crucial local resource, helping to pay for additional equipment, research and innovations – as well as finishing touches and \u2018extras\u2019 that complement the existing high-quality care for patients across the three towns.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt provides financial support to areas of the hospitals\u2019 services that lie beyond the scope of NHS funding – and this is of enormous benefit to thousands of people living across our area. <\/p>\n

Morebus says it has a busy calendar of fundraising planned and is also promoting the charity on-board and on the rear of a bus.<\/p>\n
