A petition has been launched to save Bournemouth’s Kings Park Nursery.<\/p>\n
BCP Council announced yesterday that the nursery is to close permanently due to budget cuts.<\/p>\n
It’s been growing plants for Bournemouth\u2019s parks and gardens since 1924 and also sells plants to the public.<\/p>\n
The council says the closure was a difficult decision but it will save \u00a385,000 in the next financial year.<\/p>\n
Bournemouth East MP Tobias Ellwood, pictured, has now started the Save Kings Park Nursery petition.<\/p>\n
