Bournemouth Water has announced that the average household bill for water services for 2023\/24 will be lower than last year.<\/p>\n

Bournemouth Water\u2019s Chief Customer and Digital Officer, Laura Flowerdew, said: \u201cWe understand the challenges of the cost-of-living crisis for our customers, which is why we have worked hard to reduce bills this year. We strive to help any customers who need it and we encourage any customers who are worried about their bill to get in touch and see what additional support we can offer.\u201d<\/p>\n
Whilst Bournemouth Water\u2019s first focus is always on keeping bills low, it is also undertaking a wide range of initiatives to help its customers during these challenging times.<\/p>\n
In December 2022, Bournemouth Water\u2019s parent company, Pennon, accelerated its pioneering WaterShare+ scheme, sharing \u00a320 million across the group with eligible household customers for the second time as either money back on their bills or Pennon shares. As a result, one in 14 households in the region are now shareholders, giving customers a greater say in the business.<\/p>\n
Bournemouth Water is targeting to eradicate water poverty by 2025, through its financial assistance schemes including its support tariffs.
