The annual Bournemouth Bay Run is now open for entries and to mark the announcement, early bird prices mean runners can get a discount on their entry up until Christmas Eve.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Bournemouth Bay Run will take place on 2 April 2023 and there\u2019s a distance suitable for runners of all ages and experience levels. <\/p>\n

Set against the backdrop of Bournemouth\u2019s famous seven-mile stretch of golden sand, the Bournemouth Bay Run, celebrates 40 years of races by the Bay and runners are encouraged to wear 80s fancy dress to mark the milestone.<\/p>\n

Supported by media partner, Hot Radio<\/a>, all of the 4,500 runners are encouraged to run for one of the chosen charities which this year is, Lewis Manning and Dorset Mind.<\/p>\n

Tom Powell, Race Director said: \u201cWe\u2019re excited to be able to stage the Bournemouth Bay Run for the 40th time in 2023. The event is an incredible celebration of everything that is brilliant about our beautiful coastal resort and whether you\u2019re running for fun, attempting to beat a PB or raising money for a worthy cause, you can reach your goal at the Bournemouth Bay Run. And why not mark the 40 years of races by dressing up and running in 80\u2019s gear?\u201d<\/p>\n

Early bird entry for the 10k is currently priced at \u00a320 while the half marathon is \u00a327. And for those less experienced runners there is the 5k (all chip timed) or 1K kids fun run.<\/p>\n
