A three-year-old girl has been bitten on her leg by a dog at the bus shelter opposite The Pilot pub in Adastral Road in Canford Heath, Poole.<\/p>\n
Police are investigating the incident that happened around 5.15pm on Tuesday 15 November 2022. <\/p>\n
The woman with the dog denied it had bit her and left the scene without giving her details.<\/p>\n
UPDATE 4PM: A woman has come forward following an appeal in relation to a report of a dog bite incident in Poole.<\/strong><\/p>\n She is described as aged in her 70s, white, around five feet two inches tall and of medium build with short white curly hair. She was wearing a dark-coloured coat with the hood up.<\/p>\n There were also two women at the bus stop, one of whom had a predominantly white Jack Russell.<\/p>\n Police Constable Jennie Sykes-Martin, of Dorset Police, said: \u201cWe have been carrying out enquiries into this incident and as we have now obtained full details from the victim\u2019s mother, I am in a position to appeal for witnesses or anyone with information to contact us.<\/p>\n \u201cI would also urge the woman involved to please do the right thing and get in touch with us so we can take your account of what happened.\u201d<\/p>\n Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk\/contact or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55220186197.
