Pennyfarthing Homes has put in a reserved matters application for 43 properties on land near Edmondsham Road in Verwood.<\/p>\n

Of the 43 homes, 11 will be affordable rented homes and four shared ownership homes. There will be a mixture of 1 to 4 bedroom properties including bungalows.<\/p>\n

The company achieved outline permission late last year, in which Verwood Town Council said suitable bollards should be installed along the east side at the wildlife buffer zone to stop vehicles parking there.<\/p>\n

The area, on land North and South of Edmondsham Road, borders onto Trinity C of E VA First School and Eastworth Farm.<\/p>\n

Objections have been received citing the lack of infrastructure in the town to cope with hundreds of new homes. Horse riders have also objected to the proposal to convert a well-used bridleway in Eastworth Road into a footpath and cycle route.<\/p>\n
