{"id":37865,"date":"2022-02-18T08:49:53","date_gmt":"2022-02-18T08:49:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bournemouthtoday.com\/?p=37865"},"modified":"2022-02-18T08:49:53","modified_gmt":"2022-02-18T08:49:53","slug":"wallets-stolen-from-tesco-in-bournemouth-and-ferndown","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.bournemouthone.com\/test\/wallets-stolen-from-tesco-in-bournemouth-and-ferndown\/","title":{"rendered":"Wallets stolen from Tesco in Bournemouth and Ferndown"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Officers investigating the theft of wallets in Ferndown and Bournemouth are issuing images of two men they would like to identify.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>It was reported that at around 6.15pm on Friday 11 February 2022 a woman was in the car park of Tesco in Penny\u2019s Walk in Ferndown with her handbag in her shopping trolley. <\/p>\n<p>Two men were seen to approach her, before one took her wallet from the bag and handed it to the other man and they then made off from the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The incident is believed to be linked to another theft of a wallet at around 4.30pm the same day where a man aged in his 80s had his wallet stolen as he left Tesco in Wimborne Road, Kinson.<\/p>\n<p>Sergeant Bill Nightingall, of Dorset Police, said: \u201cWe are carrying out enquiries into these thefts and have obtained CCTV images of two men we are looking to identify.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would urge anyone who recognises either of these men to please get in touch.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dorset.police.uk\/do-it-online\">dorset.police.uk\/do-it-online<\/a>, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55220024277.
